Born in London with a background spanning in the whole spectrum of dance music, Anna Cee is still a Club kid at heart. With influences from Rare Groove and 70s Funk, New York Disco and Garage, Chicago House and the Balearic Beat. With residencies at House Room at We Love Soul , the Soul 2 Soul Funky Dredd’s and playing at gigs such as Brighton Pride, Summer Solistice Festival and different London venues including Fire Vauxhall, Konnect Club Victoria, the POW @ Brixton, Anna Cee, is now taking lead in the line-up at The Official Ladies After Party, getting the party started from 9.45pm!
1. What was your first DJ event?
I've been playing at private parties for a long time but my first public DJ appearance was playing at the Creatives Uncovered Catwalk Event in Sydney Australia in 2011

Playing for friends for years but official public bookings started in2011

Funky Bumpy House Music with lots of vocals and a touch of mirror ball magic !

My residency is the House Room @ We Love Soul

I have hundreds and it changes almost daily but a classic track like 'Final Call' Rhymefest with Kenny Dope on the mix makes my heart beat !

Barbara Streisand Musicals!
8. How and why did you become a DJ?
The Soul of Sydney Crew in Australia were vibing on my selections and pushed me into playing publicly.
9. What has been your best DJ gig so far?
I enjoy every single gig because I only play music I am passionately in love with .. its the ultimate high to share that and feel the vibe
10. When you're not a DJ what events do you like to go to?
I love Groove Odyssey because I get to hear the American DJs I love alongside the Brits... 51st State Festival in August has the ultimate line up for me.
