1. What was your first DJ event?

My first ever gig was at The Volx in Brighton 2007! I was terrified and had only been mixing for a few weeks! It was a drum and bass gig and I was playing vinyl...very shakily but after the initial gig is out of the way its much easier each time depending on the event.

2. How long have you been a DJ?

7 years

3. How would you describe your DJ style?

It depends really, I kinda get bored quite easily so I like to switch up tempos and genres a lot -and coming from being a full on drum and bass DJ, where I was double dropping every tune etc it's kinda how I am, but there are times to be a bit smoother and less aggro with mixes!

4. What nights do you currently DJ at?

Depends really I do a lot of festivals, radio shows, some local clubs, I used to do weekly drum and bass gigs at Fabric, Egg, all around Brixton and Vauxhall etc. But I took a break on DJing last year and concentrated on my production as that is what you have to do now to succeed as a DJ, plus it's a really nice feeling to have something of your own to play. Now I am lucky enough to have DJ'd alongside Sam and The Womp and Kimberly Wyatt and we have something exciting going on at the moment.

5. What genres of music do you play?

Commercial house/deep house/pop to dubstep and drum and bass.

6. What is your all-time favourite track?

Thats a very tough question as I like so many different genres! Hmmm but ok drum and bass: Mutated forms & Jenna G - Last time, Dubstep - Chasing Shadows (remix) - Spor Pacifica, Deep House - Devolution - My Friends.

7. What is your guilty pleasure?

Tattooed women, blue/green eyes....

8. How and why did you become a DJ?

Going to Fabric from a young age, seeing all the DJ's and kinda being in awe of them. I was like why can't I do that, and 5 months later after loss of sleep..eating etc and mixing every day all day, I managed to land my first gig there, it was amazing. Best sound system ever in there!

9. What has been your best DJ gig so far?

Glastonbury 2009 hands down.... main dance stage and backstage, Glastonbury just has a totally different vibe to it, anything can happen there. Heres a link from then, Wayne Rooney was watching my set randomly and we had the camera crew with us so theres a lil take of that.

10. When you're not a DJ what events do you like to go to?

Ram Records @ Fabric, True Playaz @ Fabric, Deep House Audio Rehab nights, but I prefer house parties tbh..way more personal.
