2. How would you describe what you do?

Brighton based performance artist Annabelszki entertains audiences across the South-East of England, as well as internationally (Sydney, New York, Michigan, Toronto, Bali and Paris). She delivers a fusion of stand up, audience interaction, improv and comedic poetry.

1. How and why did you become a comedian

I have always loved comedy and wanted to write sitcoms since I was a teenager. Out of the madness of a crappy year I decided to do something for myself and that if I didn't do comedy properly this year I was to give up on the idea for good. So I signed up to do a Stand-up comedy course with Chris Head, and haven't looked back.

2. How would you describe what you do? 

I am an actress and comedian.

I have been acting professionally for 10 years

4. What has been the highlight of your career to date?

Being on the red carpet and being in several movies that have made it onto the big screen.

The lady at the job centre suggested it.

Since I came out of the womb, darlings.

The one about the nun and the blind man from the village....

I studied acting and business at the same time and I think this combination just made me starting to do comedy.

I have been performing in Austria and Germany since about 2007, went to Los Angeles in 2009 where I started to perform in English and then started to perform in the UK in 2011.

2. How would you describe what you do? 

Trying to convince people to be my friend through the medium of comedy.

3. How long have you being performing/working? 

Much too long. I started doing sketch comedy when I was 13 and moved to stand up a few years later. I'm 26 now. My parents are worried.
