Amy was raised in Derbyshire, England. She attended Keele University and graduated in 2007 with a BSc in Philosophy and Psychology. After graduating she worked for a while with vulnerable young people. Her debut YA novel, Secret Lies won a Golden Crown Literary award in 2014. She is married to her beautiful wife, Lou. They share a love of Dolly Parton, have two gorgeous cats, and a very mischievous little dog.

1. What’s your first memory of enjoying reading?

I have been on the path to awakening for over 5 years. In my journey, I encountered past lives, discovered my abilities as an empath, and realized words are truly mightier than swords. 

My first novel, Karma The Assassin is an exploration of power over others as it is playing out in the characters interacting in 3rd Century BC. 

We did not always live in a global world. We do not have just one world view and only one version of reality. The book takes you to the moment when two completely different realities - one of power within, the other of power over others - meet.

What’s your first memory of enjoying reading? 

My parents are both keen readers and they took me to the local library every three weeks when I was a kid. 
I would take out eight books every time and read the lot. Books have always been the ultimate great escape for me.

What’s your first memory of enjoying reading? 

My first memory of reading on my own is when my cousin gave me a copy of one of the Famous Five novels by Enid Blyton. I was captivated and imagined myself being in the story with the characters. From then on I was hooked on books.

What’s your first memory of enjoying reading? 

Being taken to the local library by my mum and deposited in the children’s corner and not wanting to leave. I loved being surrounded by all the books and was disappointed that I was only allowed two books.

What’s your first memory of enjoying reading? 

My first real memory was when I read Stig of the dump. I have no idea how old I was but I loved that book. It always made me sad that he lived in such a messy place and I wanted to go and clean it up for him.

What’s your first memory of enjoying reading? 

My parents had to pay me to read. My older sister's books were forced upon me and I never quite bonded with Malory TowersLittle Women, orBlack Beauty, hence the payment to complete a story. 

M. Cassol aka Michele was always passionate about human nature and sexuality. From struggling with her own sexual orientation to accepting that she was a lesbian, she has lived many lives as a basketball player, DJ, A&E doctor, business owner and founder of well-known skincare range. She relished and travelled all around the world, providing her with the opportunity to be exposed to her favourite subject: Women. Now, in her mid 30's, she found the maturity and creativity to dwell into writing.

At book club at school reading a book called The Runaways a story of two characters lives in parallel one character being a young boy on the run from borstal after being wrongly convicted of a crime he didn't commit and the story of a young female cheater and her cubs who escaped from a nearby safari park

What's your first memory of enjoying reading? 

My grandmother had a pictorial copy of Pilgrim's Progress - four drawings on each page with writing underneath. I remember at some point finding the writing of more interest than the illustrations.
