1. What is your artist name?

Saski

2. How would you describe what you do?

I'm a Singer, Host and Party Starter! I like to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves at my events. As an LGBT+ Activist I also encourage people to be themselves and be out and proud as I think it's really important to send a confident message as a positive role model within our community. We need to create more visibility and stand strong to support LGBT+ people to feel empowered in who they are.

3. How long have you been performing/working?

Over 10 years on the LGBT+ Scene, I now only use my 'Showbiz Age' it's been that long.

4. What has been the highlight of your career to date?

Luckily, there have been many including performing on stage in front of thousands at London Pride with QBoy in 2009 but I also love to host at PRIDES because that is the one time of the year when our community, friends and allies really get together and unite as well as have bags of fun, it really makes me proud to be a part of it. I was privileged to host at Isle of Wights first ever Pride this summer which was pretty cool.

5. If you could perform/work with any venue or night, which would it be?

Again there are many but I would love the opportunity to perform at Pride in London again, also we need more of a lesbian presence (obviously, I love my boys!) but again more LGBT+ female hosts and performers would be great! (So call me!) lol

6. What has been your best audience response and why?

Hmm...Well I haven't been kicked off stage yet but I host many Lesbian/Bi Ladies nights and I always like to make a fuss of the woman especially whilst I'm performing, it's all cheeky fun. I often have woman thanking me for a good night and making them feel comfortable as well as introducing them to new friends whilst there. It can be hard for people on the scene, especially if they are not officially out or if they want to widen their social network. In some cases we have so much communication with mobile apps, that we have lost the art of 'communication' (Lol do I sound old!) but I think it's true, that's why I feel it's important to have event's where people can actually talk to each other. #Theoldskoolwaytomeetnewpeople

7. How and why did you get into this profession?

I've always been a singer but in terms of the LGBT+ scene it was a random night talking to a girl in a bar (who happened to be a lesbian singer) and invited me to be a guest singer at one of her shows in a gay bar. Fortunately her manager saw the 'lesbian star quality' in me and signed me up too! I guess over time my confidence grew and I got more and more bookings and the rest is history! However, although I perform in front of all types of audiences, I do love to perform on the Queer scene as it's just a different vibe and they treat you like 'Kylie' Ha!  Also being gay myself, it just feels like home.

8. When you're not working what do you like to do to chill out?

PROSECCO!! I just love hanging out and catching up with my family and friends and especially extra quality time with my son (he is my world) but it is true, Prosecco is always part of any chillout time!

9. Who would you say you aim your performance at?

Anyone! But I do have a soft spot for the LGBT+ Scene as that how this all came about of course throw in a group of lesbians into the mix and I'm a happy woman!

10. Have you worked/performed for/with anyone famous?

I am yet to have a duet with PINK but part of what I do is also about interviewing stars I work with at events for my 'Saski Chats'  Youtube channel (Saski378) They are just fun mini chats but I have been fortunate to interview Lucy Spraggan, Livin Joy, Mae Martin, S CLub 7, FIVE, Jordan Gray and more!

11. If you could perform/work with anyone, who would it be?

OMG PINK of course, she multitalented and just forever cool. I also really like her as the Duo 'You and Me'

12. What is your guilty pleasure?

Is it really bad if I say I love to watch the Kardashians!?? But on a more intellectual scale,  I love TED Talks and any kind of positive motivational talks I like to learn and be inspired – Plus good motivation help give a good kick up the A*se when you need it!

13. Tell us one secret about yourself.

Now that really would be telling!
