Have Lesbians in London ever had it so good?

Did you know that London has all of the following available at your fingertips?

  • 5 LBQ venues
  • over 5 radio and podcasts aimed at LBQ women
  • over 7 festivals specifically aimed at LBQ women across the world
  • over 25 LGBT venues
  • over 35 Meet Up groups full of lesbians taking control of their own social lives
  • over 100 events every month

Thankfully there is one reliable place that lists them all! Whether you use the events calendar to find out what is on tonight, or in the coming few days, or if you use the directory to do a more general snoop, we have everything available for you.

We've just started a series of features on the LBQ venues available in London to ensure that you know what is out there. First up was Bar Titania which launched on Thursday 16 January. Hot on its heels will be Labels who have re-decorated their Restaurant and Lounge, as well as She Soho which launches on Friday 31 January. Blush Bar is currently being reinvigorated, decorated and we are looking forward to seeing the end result there. Foxy Bar exists but is a bit more underground. We're attempting to get more information on this bar to share with you so watch this space! With all these changes, the scene in London is set to change significantly over the next couple of months.

Planet London has been stepping up and extending our reach. To that end we have started doing many more interviews. Our latest was with the fabulous Mary Jane Wells (known for Elena Undone). We have more in the pipeline which we are very excited about and will share with you soon!

Exclusive offers
On top of that, we have exclusive offers such as 25% of weekend platinum passes to see Tegan and Sara and Mary Lambert amongst many others in Palm Springs! Flights are from just £500 and the weekend pass works out just over £100 due to a strong £ against the US$. Find out more and request a detailed quote from Diva Destinations who can sort everything out for you!

Virtual Book tours
Launching in 2014 are our live book tours where authors take over our book blog 'Planet of the Books' for a day and answer your questions. First up will be Static on Friday 24 January from 4pm, followed by a question and answer from The Beginning of Us on Monday 27 January from 4pm.
More information about these book tours can be found here.
