Another New Year is creeping up on us... so we let you know what is on... where will you be going?

Are you planning to go out in town, or having a house party? Perhaps your idea of a good New Year is to enjoy it at home with a meal and a drink.

Pride in London is called to account by the Community Advisory Board

The Community Advisory Board today released its post-event report on Pride in London. I have a mixture of emotions about it. I’m happy to see the experiences and feelings of many of the community expressed in writing, and it certainly completely confirms the experiences of all those who contacted me in frustration/upset/discontent in the run up to Pride; however I’m also sad. I love London, and I love Pride – but I love a Pride that is as diverse and inclusive as the LGBT community with which I feel a part of and this year I have never felt so distant from Pride.

Find out more about the Pride in London Official Women's Party

This year Pride in London are using their volunteers to host the official Pride in London women's party rather than collaborating with an existing promoter as they have in the past.

We chatted to the lead volunteer to find out more about what we can expect from the night...

Different for Girls review

As one of the most eagerly anticipated offerings at the BFI Flare LGBT Film Festival 2017, I admit to jumping at the chance to review this new lesbilicious web series.

Like many, I’m tired of lesbian tropes in mainstream TV. And with the likes of Guinevere Turner (Go Fish) and Rachel Shelley (The L Word) among an impressive cast list, I’ve not wanted to see a show so much since OITNB.

The end is near...

Documentary Rebel Dykes coming soon!

Before there were Riot Grrls, before there were Queer Activists, there were the Rebel Dykes who lived in  London in the 1980s;  the world has never been quite the same since.

A feature length documentary is in production which will tell their story.

GFEST - GAYWISE FESTIVAL ® 2015

An annual platform for LGBTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex) artists and organisations, the 8th GFEST - Gaywise FESTival ® runs Monday 9 – Friday 20 November 2015 at venues across London. At a time when the LGBT community enjoys more tolerance and equality than at any other moment in history, when gay men and lesbians in more and more countries including the UK can marry their chosen partner, feel secure at work and home thanks to anti-discrimination laws, and benefit from increased visibility, one could say that now is a time for celebration. Yet many LGBTQI people still face unimaginable horrors in countries as diverse as Russian, Syria and Uganda. GFEST contemplates this polarised situation with this year’s theme: (Complacent Present)… Fragile Future?

Older Lesbian Network (OLN)

I didn't feel old, and I didn't feel young. I didn't feel judged and I didn't feel out of place. In fact I had a really quite lovely afternoon. I was even invited back another month.
